From the Sahara you enter this beautiful piece of heathland via the steel footbridge. Just like the Heuvelse Heide, this heathland landscape is a remnant of the former Kempische Heide with an extensive range of fauna and flora. The ideal location for fascinating walks in all seasons of the year.
Even during a winter walk you are never alone here. The Grey Shrike, which sits atop a Scots pine in winter, keeps a close eye on you until you leave the heath.
