In the wooded area of Kattenbos in Lommel, you will find the German War Cemetery, the largest WWII cemetery in Western Europe, covering 16 hectares. More than 39,105 fallen soldiers in the service of Germany on Belgian soil have found their final resting place here. Walk along the endless rows of graves, discover their stories, and reflect on the horrors of war.
