Ever wondered why bees buzz? How many species of bees exist? Is there also a bee king? At the beehive 't Zoemhuukske, beekeepers from the Royal Lommel Beekeepers Association 'De Heidebloem' introduce you to the wonderful world of honeybees. Note: Access is by appointment only.
Individual rates
From May to September, 't Zoemhuukske is free to visit every first Sunday of the month from 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
Group rates
Visits are possible with a guide (by reservation) - for smaller groups up to a maximum of 20 to 25 people.
Rates:
- €2 per adult - €1 for children from 6 to 12 years old
- €40 per group / max. 25 people (minimum 20 people for group rate)
- Schools in Lommel: free
