Your hike starts at the impressive land-art piece House of Nature, a place where art and nature come together. Then you will explore the water basins of Lommel's main attraction, the Sahara. You walk through the vast landscapes of the Blekerheide and follow the path along the Dutch border towards the Blauwe Kei, where water flows together from different directions. The route along the Bocholt-Herentals canal leads you back to the sandy plains of the mini-desert, the Sahara. The hike ends through the Sportpark De Soeverein, where you can enjoy a delicious drink or snack at brasserie De Kantine to conclude your hike.
