With Feest op het Plein, music and a cosy atmosphere come together on the town square. The square becomes a lively open-air stage full of great live performances. The result? Dancing feet, hundreds of nightingales and nothing but cheerfulness.
A banging finale
We are closing Feest op het Plein with an evening full of beats, grooves and festival energy. From TROY’s jazzy hip-hop to the explosive sound of GLINTSAL and the summer vibes of Buscemi ft. MC TD Rankin: this final Thursday is made for serious dancing.
Line-up
8 pm - 9 pm: TROY
TROY brings hip-hop with substance to Feest op het Plein. The Belgian rapper, producer and trumpeter mixes soulful and jazzy hip-hop with conscious lyrics. His sound starts from New School Boom Bap, while constantly pushing the boundaries of the genre. It is exactly that bridge between the traditional and the experimental that makes his music so special.
With the audience award of Sound Track Vlaams-Brabant and a win at Studio Brussel’s De Nieuwe Lichting 2026 under his belt, TROY is ready to win over Lommel too. Expect a distinctive show full of groove, edge and musical craftsmanship.
9.30 pm - 10.30 pm: GLINTSAL
During the summer of 2025, seismographs around the world recorded a series of earthquakes measuring more than 7.00 on the Richter scale. They all agreed on the cause: GLINTSAL was playing its first festival summer.
GLINTSAL consists of rapper/singer Glints and producer/DJ Faisal. Together, they have been presenting Qultuur, with a capital Q, that matters, on StuBru for around six years during their weekly radio show Abattoir Anvers. Expect a show full of energy, swagger and surprises!
After the release of their album GLINTSAL (VOL. 1) and their triumphant run across the festivals, the duo returned to the studio to work on new music. Who knows what this summer will bring? GLINTSAL BABY! OOOH
11 pm - midnight: Buscemi ft. MC TD Rankin
Buscemi ft. MC TD Rankin brings pure dance energy to Feest op het Plein. For years, Buscemi has blended influences from Latin, jazz, house, lounge and drum ’n’ bass into a recognisable sound. Together with MC TD Rankin, that mix gets even more drive and live energy.
Expect a set that will get the square moving, with uplifting rhythms and enough swing to close the final edition in festive style.
